The Privilege fully owned by a carrier hotelier turned entrepreneur, Chairman Susil De Alwis F.H.C.I.M.A (UK) a veteran in hospitality with over 25 years of experience in international hotels combined his vast experience and innovative thinking in setting up the unique property. His primary objective is to offer a very personalized consistent service to the valued guest whilst maintaining high standards

Mr. De Alwis obtained a four year diploma in hotel management from Germany & he has also been at the prestigious Cornel university in U.S.A. Mr.Susil De Alwis was awarded the prestigious Fellowship from the Hotel & Catering International Management Association (HCIMA)UK. The owner was appointed the Vice President hotels of the Association of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Sri Lanka for the second time in 2007.

Shamal De Alwis his son, having completed his studies graduating from Curtin University Australia with bachelor's degree in Business Administration is now the Business Development Manager for The Privilege. With his warm and humble personality he is committed to take The Privilege to greater heights.
